will t21 ever come to america? Unfortunately, there are no plans for Trisomie 21 to play in the Unites States. If anyone out there reading this can facilitate booking a substantial and acceptable venue with the acceptable accomadations, please contact me at toddejones@yahoo.com

Yeah, not to play pessimist, but I think it may be 'too late in the game' for T21 to come to the U.S. for a tour. I think that would've had to happen sometime between '88-'90, during the Works era, when lots of people were buying Wax Trax/Play It Again Sam music. Too bad Play It Again Sam was never able to put a festival tour together. Can you imagine a late 80's tour featuring T21, Borghesia, Click Click, Cassandra Complex, Neon Judgment, Siglo XX, etc.? Industrial fans would've loved it at the time, but PIAS probably could've never afforded to put such an event together. Too bad, too, as it would've been great exposure for those artists, and the label.
I'm sure there is a good fanbase of fans here, and we'd all come out to support their live shows, but the expense-to-profit ratio probably wouldn't add up in the band's favor. I can only imagine the travelling expenses for the band, including shipping all their gear overseas, and then travelling around the U.S. to make money. They'd probably have to play 20-30 dates, just to hope to break even. With the right advertising, the fans would sure come out of the woodwork, but with zero radio play and import-only releases that are either expensive or impossible to find, it would be a tall order to make a successful tour.
Just look at a band like A-ha, who is still popular in many countries, and can fill arenas, yet they haven't toured the U.S. in almost 20 years, despite having a few songs on the radio. As great as T21 is, they would need a heck of a promoter to make it all happen. I wish I had the financial backing to make it work. If I ever win the lottery or inherit millions from someone, I would totally back a T21 U.S. tour in a minute. Until then, it's probably not the most ideal scenario for the band, and it's understandable. I'll just continue to purchase their music, and take comfort in the fact that I have a handful of friends who know who T21 is, and also listens to their music. It's the best we can do here in the States.
